Chris Henderson

BUSINESS MANAGER
Chris has been the Business Manager and Company Secretary for MBF since 2012 and is responsible to the Board for setting and implementing strategic plans approved by the Directors. He is the Responsible Manager for the AFSL held by MBF and ensures governance and compliance policies and procedures are in place. Chris is also responsible for the overall results of the business and the effectiveness of the operations undertaken by the administration team.

Membership Manager
Pip is a new addition to the MBF team, taking over the Membership Manager role until 2020.

Christine Simpson

CLAIMS MANAGER
As the Claims Manager, Christine provides advice and assistance to members through the claims process – claimants will need to talk to Christine in order to make the process as smooth as possible. She reports directly to the Board on all claims matters and is also the Privacy Officer. Christine is the primary contact in relation to the MBF Internal Complaints Handling Process.

Michelle Vong

ACCOUNTANT & FACILITIES MANAGER
Michelle has been with the MBF for over four years and has recently become the MBF Accountant, as well as Facilities Manager for the MBF building in South Melbourne. She handles all aspects of bookkeeping, accounts payable and daily financial transactions. Michelle has a Bachelor of Accounting and completed her CPA qualification in 2018.

Edmond Pereira

Bookkeeper
Edmond is a new addition to the MBF Finance team, assisting with general bookkeeping tasks and managing the MBF building.

Jessica Brownscombe

MARKETING COORDINATOR & MEMBERSHIP ASSISTANT
Jessica started with the MBF in September 2015. She provides front line customer service as part of the membership team with information to new members, processing applications and answering members’ queries. As well as undertaking a number of projects in IT, Jess’s role has recently been broadened into coordinating the marketing and social media aspects of the MBF.

Michelle Carabott

ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT
Michelle started working full time at the AAPMBF in April 2007 as the Building Administration Officer. After maternity leave in 2011/12 she returned part-time as an Administration Assistant where she assists MBF staff with membership related queries and projects.

Administration Assistant
Kalindra joined the MBF team in 2018 and has been assisting with file transfer to a new document management system, as well as providing support when needed to the Membership team.
